While enjoying safaris in East Africa, we found joy in sharing our love for the continent, its people, wildlife, and hidden beautiful places. One evening, as we sat around a campfire with a gin and tonic, roasting lamb and watching hyenas circle in the darkness, an idea came to us. We thought about creating a small, exclusive group of lodges and camps. These places would be so special that guests would come as strangers but leave as friends. They would offer incredible experiences over fancy luxury, and take care of the communities and wildlife we cherish.
So, we started our journey, facing many challenges along the way, but we kept going with humor, passion, and, of course, a gin and tonic in hand! Eighteen years later, we're proud of what we've built. Our places have helped the environment, local communities, and wildlife. We've given hundreds of guests, now friends, life-changing experiences, and we keep growing stronger.
